A luxury, on-location hat experience that brings together craftsmanship, storytelling, hospitality and connection, hosted with our friends Earth Walker & Co located in Coledale, NSW.
Guests are guided through the art of hat styling by PHYLLi hatmaker, Laura Hall. Each participant selects their preferred hat base which is customised live at the event with signature trims and personalised detailing, to reflect the moment and wearer.
Following the PHYLLi experience, guests gather around the fire for a seasonal Earth Walker dining experience featuring thoughtfully curated food, storytelling and conversation.
Once your PHYLLi booking is confirmed, Earth Walker & Co will contact guests directly to finalise payment of $149 for the hospitality and dining component.

The HAT BASE
Your Hatters Table hat includes:
- Premium felt hat base
- Classic Japanese grosgrain ribbon band
- Your choice or combination of any detailing package listed below
- 100% silk lining and leather sweatband
Hat bases are purchased ahead of the event and will be ready on the day. Each guest receives a travel hat box.

Sizing
Add 1cm to your head measurement to determine your correct hat size.
For example, a 57cm head measurement wears size 58 hat.
The leather sweatband will gently mold to your head over time. Hats do not stretch.

WHAT DOES THE EARTH WALKER DINING EXPERIENCE ENTAIL?
A welcome drink will be served on arrival with additional beverages available to purchase throughout the afternoon.
Following the PHYLLi experience, the Earth Walker dinner gathering will begin.
The menu will celebrate seasonal produce, farmhouse cooking and Earth Walker favourites, served across a series of generous shared dishes that encourage conversation and connection around the table.
WHERE AND WHEN IS THE HATTERS TABLE EVENT?
The PHYLLi x Earth Walker Hatters Table event will be held at Earth Walker & Co @ 749-751 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Coledale, NSW on Saturday 29th August, 3pm - 9pm.
Can guests attend only one half of the event?
No, guests are only able to attend the experience in its entirety. This is a thoughtfully curated experience that brings together craftsmanship, storytelling, hospitality and connection.
Are PHYLLi Hats made in Australia?
Yes. Each PHYLLi hat is handcrafted in our studio in regional Australia by hatmaker Laura Hall using premium western weight rabbit felt imported from Europe, or handwoven panama straw sourced from Ecuador.
WHAT MAKES PHYLLi DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HAT BRANDS?
Every PHYLLi hat is blocked, shaped and trimmed by hand by hatmaker Laura Hall in our studio in regional Australia. Each hat is made individually using time-honoured hat making practices, not mass produced in a warehouse.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STRICKLAND HAT AND THE WHEELER?
The Strickland hat is PHYLLi's signature felt hat, defined by a classic pinched crown silhouette. The Wheeler is PHYLLi's everyday cowboy hat, with a gentle curved 9cm brim and a balanced crown height that sits naturally from daily wear to country events. Both are available as hat bases at the Hat Bar.
DO GUESTS LEAVE WITH THEIR HAT ON THE DAY?
Yes. Each hat is customised live during the event and guests leave with their finished PHYLLi hat the same day, delivered in a travel hat box.
How should my hat fit?
Your hat should feel secure without pressure. Add 1cm to your head measurement to determine your size (eg. 57cm = size 58). The leather sweatband will gently mould to your head with wear.
