Our standard production timeline of 3 - 4 weeks applies to all resizing orders.
When Is Resizing Needed?
Has your hat arrived slightly too big or a touch on the tight side?
Perhaps it was a thoughtful gift and the sizing wasn’t quite right.
If foam tape isn’t enough, our team can professionally resize your PHYLLi hat.
All resizing involves replacing the internal leather sweatband. We do not stretch existing sweatbands. Any personalised name stamping will be carefully replicated.
We accept previously purchased PHYLLi hats. Non-PHYLLi hats cannot be resized.
How It Works
- Purchase the Hat Resizing option.
- We’ll email you our studio shipping details.
- Post your hat via registered post and forward your tracking number.
- Your resized hat will be returned, ready for its next adventure.
Before You Send Your Hat
To determine your correct size:
- Measure the circumference of your head
- Position the tape one to two fingers above your eyebrows and one finger above your ears
- Keep it level and firm, not tight
Add 1cm to your measurement to determine your hat size.
For example, a 57cm head measurement wears a size 58 hat.
The leather sweatband will gently mold to your head over time. Hats do not stretch.

As hat resizing is a custom service, all resizing purchases are final.
Please ensure you have carefully confirmed your required size before placing your order. If you are unsure, we recommend reviewing our Hat Sizing Guide prior to purchase.

Can you resize my hat larger and smaller?
Yes. We can resize your PHYLLi hat up or down by one full size.
Resizing involves replacing the internal leather sweatband to ensure proper structure and finish.
Can you resize a hat by more than one size?
Resizing beyond one size is not recommended, as it can compromise the shape and structure of the hat. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing the resize service.
Can you resize non-PHYLLi hats?
At this time, we only offer resizing services for PHYLLi hats. Non-PHYLLi hats will not be accepted.
How long does hat resizing take?

Will my personalised name stamping be afftected?
No. Any existing name stamping will be carefully replicated so your hat retains its personal detail.
What if I'm unsure of my new size?
Before purchasing resizing, measure your head and apply the 1cm rule (head measurement + 1cm = hat size). For full measuring instructions, refer to our Hat Sizing Guide.
