The PHYLLi Group Hat Party is our signature private event experience, designed for celebrations that deserve something unforgettable.
Hosted at your chosen location, your guests are guided through the art of hat styling by the PHYLLi maker team. Each participant selects their preferred hat base before refining it with curated trims and personalised detailing, resulting in a finished hat they leave with on the day.
Designed for birthdays, hens celebrations, corporate gatherings and private events, the Group Hat Party blends craftsmanship, creativity and elevated hospitality into one seamless experience.

How it works

Each guest begins with:
- A premium PHYLLi felt or seasonal straw hat
- Choice of crown structure
- Choice of brim width and shape
- Classic ribbon band
- 100% silk lining and leather sweatband
- Personalised name stamping inside
- Travel hat box
Sizing
Add 1cm to your head measurement to determine your correct hat size.
For example, a 57cm head measurement wears size 58 hat.
The leather sweatband will gently mold to your head over time. Hats do not stretch.

All sales are final. As each piece is handcrafted to order or produced in limited quantities, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges.

I don't know how to sew, is that a problem?
Not at all.
The creative direction is yours, selecting trims, ribbons and personalised sizing, while every hat is expertly assembled and finished on the day by Laura Hall and the PHYLLi maker team.
No sewing required.
Can guests assemble their own hats?
The PHYLLi Group Hat Party is a guided, fully serviced experience.
Each hat is professionally steamed, assembled and finished by our team to ensure the highest quality result. The focus for guests is styling and creative expression, not construction.
What if someone can't stay for the full event duration?
For the best experience, guests should be present for the full event window.
If a hat cannot be completed on the day due to late arrival or early departure, we can finalise and ship it afterward. Shipping costs are charged to the individual.
Can I design more than one hat?
Additional hats can absolutely be arranged.
We recommend advising us in advance via your Hat Party Form to ensure availability. If decided on the day, we may complete and ship the additional hat after the event.
Can ready to wear hats be purchased on the day?
A curated selection of ready to wear styles will be available to try and purchase.
We recommend advising us in advance if there are specific styles you would like us to bring.
