Chunky Hat Pin 6
Ready to ship
The beauty of a Chunky Hat Pin is that no two are ever the same. Each piece is lovingly made by hand in our Dubbo studio. Ready to ship in 3 - 5 days.
At PHYLLi, we upcycle wherever possible. The sari silks woven through our Chunky Hat Pins are selected from treasured offcuts used in the production of our hat collections, giving new life to every remnant.
Adorn your favourite PHYLLi hat by pinning through the felt and allowing the charms and chains to hand loose, or place the pin through the bow centre to gather softly along the brim.
Chunky Hat Pins are a collection of small treasures, crafted to add colour, movement and hardware to your hat. Perfect as an interchangeable piece, or as a gift for someone beginning their PHYLLi collection.

FAQs
How do I attach my hat pin?
Gently insert the pin through the side of the crown, allowing the charms and chains to dangle. Alternatively, feed the pin through the centre of the bow band, allowing the pin to gather subtly to one side.
Will the hat pin leave a hole in my felt hat?
When placed correctly in a PHYLLi felt hat, the pin will not leave permanent damage.
To close over a small gap, lightly steam the area and gently rub your finger over the spot to encourage the felt fibres to close over.
Can I wear a hat pin on my panama hat?
Yes. When styling a panama hat, guide the pin between the weave rather than piercing the straw itself. This preserves the integrity of the fibres while allowing you to customise your look.
Where should I position my hat pin?
Hat pins are most commonly styled on the side of the crown, just above the back half of the bow band, or through the bow centre.
Placement can be adjusted to suit your silhouette and trim detailing.
